Hi, I’m Jill

I'm Jill, and Big Horn Wellness is my practice — named for the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming, where I lived for six years in the small town of Lovell. My trips up into those mountains gave me something I've carried ever since: the deep calm of feeling small within something vast, and the humility and focus that come with it. High in that range sits the Medicine Wheel, an ancient sacred site where people have gathered in ceremony for centuries — and to which they still travel from all over the world. The mountains taught me that true peace isn't something you can talk yourself into; it's something you experience, somewhere deeper than words. My whole practice rests on that principle. Today I work from Glasgow, Kentucky — in person across south central Kentucky, and online with clients throughout the US — using hypnosis, specialized coaching, BWRT and MEMI: approaches that speak directly to the deeper mind, where our patterns, habits and fears were first learned, and where they can finally be unlearned. Most people who find me already understand themselves well. They know why they feel the way they feel. What they're waiting for is the change itself — felt, not just understood. That is the work I do. Whatever brings you here — there is a way through.

How the work works

Clinical Hypnosis

You don't need to understand how it works to feel the difference. Hypnosis works with the part of the mind that sits below conscious thought — the part holding the anxiety, the freeze, the old pattern — and helps it settle. It's faster than people expect, and more ordinary than films have led you to imagine.

Family and Systems Work

When the difficulty sits between people rather than inside one person — a teenager who's stopped talking, a marriage that's lost its footing, grief that's split a family — the work shifts accordingly. Systemic, compassionate, and focused on helping everyone find their way back into real connection.

Coaching and Practical Tools

Alongside the deeper clinical work, you leave with practical tools you can use between sessions and long after the work is complete. Self-hypnosis, anchoring, breathwork, reframing — the skills that mean you don't need me forever. The aim is always your own independence.

MEMI and Rapid Change Work

MEMI and related approaches work at the level of the nervous system rather than the thinking mind. They're quiet, structured, and remarkably effective for phobias, traumatic memories, and reactions that logic alone can't reach. Often, a single session is enough to bring immediate relief
